Review: Inglot YSM Cream Foundation

Hi!! Remember me?

I know. I know. Sorry for being MIA for a so long! There was just a lot to do personally and professionally. All those are being dealt with and some have been already done and forgotten. So… onto the review…

Today’s review is on my favorite foundation EVER! Of late I have become a minor Inglot-freak. Inglot, as a brand, is a much cheaper option to high-end products. The quality of all the products I have used so far is top class and they tempt me to buy more and more stuff from the brand. Keep reading for the actual review…

My Experience with Inglot YSM Cream Foundation:

Like I said, This is my “most favorite” foundation of all the ones I have. I bought this on my first trip to Chennai when we had almost half a day to kill with nothing to do. Inglot is so easily accessible in Chennai! (If you need, it is at the ground floor of the Express Avenue mall).

I use my fingers to apply the foundation mostly, and it applies beautifully. The texture is very soft and creamy and blends like a dream. Seriously!

It gives a semi-matte, slightly dewy finish that I adore for winters. In case I want matte finish for the day, I only have to use a light powder. The coverage is very medium. Although it can be layered to give a fuller coverage.

There is a warning on the tube and the box saying it is not to be used around the eye area. I asked an SA in a later visit to Inglot about this and she said they only put this as a precaution and it is ok to use it near the eyes. But I somehow still do not feel like doing that. I use my MAC prolong wear concealer.

I am a MAC 44.5 skin. The shade 52 in the YSM foundation suits me perfectly and even imparts a slight “glow”.

Final word:

Last word

Last word

YSM stands for Young Skin Makeup. It does make my face look younger and better. I would keep on repurchasing this one at least for the ease of travel and the awesomeness of the foundation is just a huge plus. This one is going with me on the honeymoon. ;)
