Recently Maybelline launched new Nail colors that were very very light on the pocket. Yes. You might have heard of these tiny colorful beauties, the Maybelline Color Show Nail Colors.
Here’s a look on some of my favorite Matte shades from the range:
Oh you wouldn’t want to miss this post.
Here they are on my nails. Husband says my long nails look like weapons of destruction. I must think of cutting them some time.
Now a closer look at these little things.
- Maybelline Color Show Nail Color in Denim Dash
This is one of the most perfect blues, in my opinion. I love the matte-ness and the color is just beautiful. The silver flecks just adds radiance to the already pretty shade. Looks beautiful with some gold nail-art on top.
- Maybelline Color Show Nail Color in Chrome Pink
This one is my favorite matte shade in this range. I fell in love with the color in the store where I bought it. It is coral-orangy-pink with a metallic finish. I love some golden nail-art on this too. You can try simple polka dots or some random stripes to get the most beautiful manicure with this.
- Maybelline Color Show Nail Color in Bold Gold
And speaking of gold…. Best gold nail color I have come across. This has become a pretty famous color in itself by now. Bold Gold is the perfect “gold” gold shade. It is thick. Meaning it does not need more than one coat at a time. This is just one coat. It is great for stamping. Just. Perfect. I have already bought two of this little beauty.
- Maybelline Color Show Nail Color in Devil wears Purple
Purple is a nice shade. Devil wears purple is a nice purple. This shade was the whole reason why I thought I should do a post for matte shades only. It has the most beautiful silver sprinkling and goes on beautifully matte. I love me some bling any time and this takes on to bling like the devil to purple. Apparently.
- Maybelline Color Show Nail Color in Silver Linings
Silver Linings is a good silver shade. It is not as good as Bold Gold… but it comes close. I have bought backups of this one too.
Although these are gorgeous colors, they start chipping pretty much in a couple of days. Sooner, if you used your hands a lot in house work or anything like that. Applying top-coat is a must if you want them to last long but it might take away the matte-ness unless you use a matte top coat. I love them anyway.
They only cost Rs. 75 each.
Maybelline has introduced 40 of these little pretty vials of gorgeousness. I have about 30 so far. And I wonder why I haven’t bought the other 10. You can check them all out HERE.
What do you think of these shades from Maybelline? How many you have?
I have a super-blingy New Year Nail-art coming up with these shades as the base… so wait for it.
On other news, I am trying to improve my photography skills. First time in a long time I liked my photos. Let me know what you think.
Thank you for reading!
